    A standard tactic of any Board under some attack from others, is to throw muck anywhere in defending their (in this instance, lucrative!) positions.

    In the cold light of day, resigning without a spot to go to is not an overly sensible idea and maybe thought better of it.

    But, nonetheless, it would be a wise move of the new Board to put out some statement regarding this situation.
