With all the recent hubbub about defamation I should clarify that information about LAC/LAM CEO's participation in placement etc is only based on posts from Canadian stock forums. Ownership of LAC can't be confirmed as its a private company, with a view to a float on TSX. Still it has proved to be extremely diluting to LAM shareholders and more recent placements a reat close to ten times the nominal price. One of the recent investors is said to be Magna International, one of the world's largest auto parts suppliers, and there's another unnamed strategic investor with an option over part of the off-take.
