My five cents with the benefit of hindsight on the MOU extension. Project partner Provaris energy (PV1) in a quarterly update released last Monday 25/7 stated their feasibility study was due to be completed in July 2022. Assuming that has now been completed, maybe the hyenergy project partners needed extra time to go through the details of that study. The hyenergy project is intended to be an hydrogen export project and without province being able to prove the commercial feasibility of transporting hydrogen to regional markets, the value proposition to Total is severely diminished.
