Indeed. So you'd think that advertising for this position for $270k would make it pretty difficult to find any experienced mining CEO to take it on.
So from my perspective, AJM are actually pretty lucky that they had someone like Alex to promote to the role and pay such a competitive salary.
The real question is whether he is the right person for the job and can turn the ship around. If he is, then he's pretty good value!
