Thank you for your considered comments, Gallaghmc. Let's hope it all plays out to our advantage.

I think the global economic gloom and risk aversion for investors is a big factor in explaining why we were 20 c pre April expected announcement, yet now so low even after the announcement.

The slowdown in China and the shelving of so many mining investment projects puts us in a bad space right now with Gunson. Also, there is so little money or appetite for majors to get into speculative shares right now.

That said, we have to look for the silver lining, and that may come through Posco wanting even more to diversify given Chinese demand dropping off for iron ore/steel; then we have the investment projects being given the shove and hence maybe an appetite for getting at least some new projects up and running ( such as Coburn); then there is the surplus of investment funds given that so many projects have been cancelled or postponed (ie, maybe it will make it easier for DH to secure finance); and then we have the possibility for reduced construction costs for Coburn given the surplus of construction resources now that projects are being cancelled (alluded to by DH in the recent update).

Let's hope it all goes well.

Gallaghmc, I would be interested in your latest views on Mt Gunson copper and where things are with that. You have previously posted on the copper, albeit a couple of years back now. Any recent thoughts on this?
