Regarding purification process, by guess, I would assumed they have improved the process in 7 years. I would guess, in all last 7 years, nothing would have stopped them to continue the research and make the process better. and the only thing that come to my mind for not disclosing the location is they don't want to open the tricky bit of process, with a fear that it will be copied in places where patent is not respected. All I am betting on is, if US lead mineral consortium has named them observing notable process, then they would have noticed something, not just mining prospects. I think, they may have got hundreds of proposals on thier table and they named only 2. All in my opinion.
