A user clicks on a recipe and it loads ingredients , steps , time to cook , prep instructions , servings, Loading a single listview could be in excess of 30 api calls.

Its dubious at best and unless you get a revenue based milestone the api calls and interactions can all be inflated by a single developer alone.

Flurry +/ urban airship +/ firebase +/ aws +/ ope source alternatives are all easy to run for udner $5 / month.Some of these products have left beta and are now very mature in terms of usage.
