Most of the other lakes are junk in terms of grade and geographically separated by up to hundreds of Km with no obvious fast track options.
SO4 could acquire the GTE tenements for a significant amount and still be better off than developing most of their other lakes.
I reckon the acquisition option will be in the desk top study.
Those GTE tenements need some exploration and it is likely they will actually see more exploration activity than SO4 undertook themselves. They could probably add 150Ktpa equivalent of native brine to the existing operation by simply incorporating more trench, bores, ponds and plant upgrade.
They would need EPA approval but they need that for all the other lakes (think 2-3 years, maybe less for Lake Wells).
Extension of project is what KLL proposes and if you understand what they propose you can see how the GTE channel could be incorporated into SO4's existing operation.
From memory they paid Blackham $20M.
