I wouldn’t be surprised if they will shortly get a hammering in the financial press. There has been plenty of spin-friendly pieces nicely “placed” in compliant media recently, but the set of bullet points issued last week - in an almost indignant fashion - responding to valid queries over production delays, and just off the back of a recent unexpected capital raise, doesn’t sit well if you’re a seasoned journalist (and we do have a few left in the world, thankfully).
SO4 needs to alter its blood-from-a-stone approach to difficult questions - nobody expects there will be no hitches or glitches with a greenfields project like this. But it is how you manage communication that is the key, and SO4 is not doing this well at all.
