The EV market is still headed as it was. The issue with the lithium 'oversupply' is not that it is not needed for the EV market (among other things), it is that the making of batteries is restricted by logistics. There will be a one way move towards greater chemical conversion and more battery making capacity, but in the meantime we will be hit on the share price by shorters and by others selling out now to buy later.
Just keep in mind that the EV's will need the increased battery capacity as it comes on line and the demand for lithium at that time will expand in leaps and bounds.
