More misunderstanding....
No one is saying that a cannabis producer will "own" their patients. Just like the makers of advil and nurofen don't "own" me when I use their products.
The point is that the announcement states that their capacity is to produce for 6,000 patients, and people have immediately rushed and assumed that meant they are earning revenue on the full 6,000 patients.
The answer is no. Penetrating that market is hard, there are already countless cannabis products for authorised prescribers to choose from.
SAS-B applications literally only hit 38k approvals in Feb, so thinking THC will instantly be able to carve out 6,000 is naive - it will take considerable time.
