re: Ann: Production Improving at Las Lagunas ... On 31st July they reported that they were "currently" fabricating" a thickener for the front end of the plant to "greatly aid the flotation process"
On 8th Aug they reported that the flotation and CIL circuits were within 7% of target.
I think the reality is that it takes time for process improvements to flow through the plant and translate into gold production and shipment numbers.
Today's announcement includes a comment that the modifications scheduled for Sept result in improved recoveries in this area of the plant
Given that they they have made improvements to recovery rates with previous modifications that they said would improve rates it seems likely that this modifications will too improve the performance of the plant.
