1/ As you say a capital raise 2/ Allows the entry of RayS who was able to get a golden hello ,via the placing 3/ Provides something for the long standing shareholders of GLL 4/ Allows the aged VEN chair a graceful exit, allowing him to talk about 'new' assets etc 5/ The current MD of VEN can speak of 'corporate developments' allowing him to go off on another cycling holiday.
You will note, that none of those issues benefit existing VEN holders, merely develops a narrative to sell to the unsuspecting...
