Cheers Anti, not had much time this morning to really re-read the quarterly yet, but this also jumped out at me.



Basically, 3 years reserves minimum from Roswell at 1.1mt p.a (though this was first announced in Feb 27, but... not sure it included the open pit figure too).
With... potentially another 3+ years if they can slowly convert/extend the current MRE (yes, that is a high conversion rate, but... from what they have shown the market so far with the other ore bodies and historical production/exploration results along the Tommi trend).

The big question for me initially, is how much of the open pit reserves, can they further convert to U/G....

It's still getting bigger...

@illalong - absolutely, my post is painting a optimal outcome and the recovery rate I used is likely too high, but... with higher grades, so the recovery will increase too (even at perhaps 85%-90% we should still see around 85-90k p.. with the other U/G offering a small amount of ore. Depends on how much more throughput the plant can achieve I guess.

@Joelstar - I am guessing the options bought, matches the reserves of Roswell.

Just wish they could have done that instead of the hedging, but it's done, time to focus on what ALK can do to further mitigate the hedging (more ounces).
Looking forward to the new mine plan to be honest, as right now, the market still seems to think ALK is going to be a 60k p.a. producer with low margins.
