    .. “For those interested the ex AGO lease which has a 5% royalty attached is mining lease E45/2363 which can be seen on page 6 Figure 4 on report...”

    @jo.fitzek a while back I was trying to work out how the lease with the Atlas with the 5% royalty attached fitted in to the scheme of things. (As Gina Rhinehart now owns Atlas she has presumably inherited the interests).

    @zoomyjeff kindly pasted a link leading to this announcement dated 14/9/2015;
    PILGANGOORA LITHIUM RESOURCE UPDATE INDEPENDENT REVIEW CONFIRMS STATUS OF WORLD CLASS DEPOSIT.
    It says of the Altura deposit;....“the deposit lies within E45/2287 and P45/2758 held 100% by Altura Exploration P/L and E45/2363 held by Atlas Operations Pty Limited.” (See the map in the spoiler. )

    Last October that lease, - E45/2363, which contains, amongst others, the ‘Cleopatra Gold Prospect’ (butbwhich Indin’tbthink is currently being mined ?) was drilled by Altura which said it was searching for gold (concurrently different lease - the Utara lease; E45/2287 was searched for lithium);
    3/9/18 EXPLORATION UPDATE CLEOPATRA GOLD & UTARA LITHIUM PROSPECTS

    Looking at the history;
    Altura announced it had procured the lithium option on E45/2363 on April 27, 2011;
    AAltura Mining Limited (ASX: AJM) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an Option Agreement with Atlas Iron Limited (Atlas) and Shaw River Resources Limited (Shaw River) for an area presently covered by E45/2363 (held by Atlas).
    .. “Under the terms of the Option Agreement Altura has 2 years in which to exercise the option.”

    Apparently somewhere along the line E45/2363 was renamed as M45/1231, and this may have caused some confusion ?
    -On March, 2016, HC member, @ozblue, questioned HC member, @blastfurnace (30/3/16 - 17384068) about why the lease seemed to be still registered to Atlas
    ...... “that area where Altura have the main part of their ore has M45/1231 marked on tengraph whereas the rest of their area is marked as M45/1230 and mining application.
    The M45/1231 area still comes up as Atlas E45/2363.
    Did they have to apply for the mining license separately or might it be a special separate application for DSO and possibly less permitting??”

    @blastfurnace reply 30/3/16 17384772
    @ozblue my understanding is they can be amalgamated only once they are granted.
    The Mining Lease application held by AJM covers their Exploration and Prospecting licences, which is allowed, because they are both held by AJM.
    The other Mining Lease application, held by AGO, covers the AGO exploration licence. The AGO Mining Licence, once granted, can be transferred to AJM and then amalgamated with the other AJM Mining Licence (once also granted)

    Here’s the land in question
    Cheers
