This is the technical validation many of us have been waiting for. Scaling a novel process like FJH from lab bench to industrial throughput is not trivial......this is where most technologies fail. MTM now appears to have passed what is arguably the hardest commercialisation hurdle - demonstrating that a full-scale reactor can operate reliably under real-world process conditions.. this was my reservation early on..
So what? No remaining scale-up risk & throughput will exceed original 1TPD expectations from day one. Two important separate points that need to sink in. This is the kind of engineering milestone that institutional investors look for before stepping in in my experience. MTM’s pathway to commercial rollout is now clearly defined and credible.
There’s no reason this tech should be capped around 40c anymore. We’re into blue sky territory.
Hats off again to Michael and the MTM team for delivering a stream of high-quality, technically robust updates to market.$1? It’s on the cards.
