I had a neighbour in Sydney who was a Electrician,He bought into a gold exploration mob in Papua New Guinea around 40 years ago at 2 cents a share,he must of had a load of them,as he invested in 2 bottle shops & 2 newsagents,he did very well,after a quadruple bypass at around 50,old John managed to live another 20 years,buying a water front property on the central coast north of Sydney,funny bugger Winfield red in one hand & a bottle of vb in the other,a real aussie larrikin who become extraodinarily wealthy.
I think Renee Rivkin also had the same shares,it was around that time,2 cent to 2 dollar story
