Not currently holding, but always keeping a close (mostly automated) eye on RVR. It's very disappointing that RVR have stopped providing a full operations summary of Thalanga in the production update, which they had been very consistent with for the previous 10 quarters. This makes it a lot harder to gauge quarter-on-quarter performance and estimate the sales revenue.
It's not all doom and gloom though. Despite the heavy rains at the start of the quarter and a 4-5 day shutdown at the end of the quarter, it should still prove to be Thalanga's 5th highest revenue and 4th highest EBITDA for the quarter (out of 15 quarters since production commenced). Assuming similar grades as last quarter, revenue should fall between A$26-30m (excluding Hillgrove).
Quarter-on-quarter, average zinc price (AUD) was -1.0%, lead +0.4%, copper +12.4%, gold -9.5% and silver +1.7%.
Current spot price vs March quarter average (AUD), zinc is +2.6%, lead -0.8%, copper +6.5%, gold -3.3% and silver -3.0%.
