We know Tianqi, sullied their relationship with Ganfeng with Greenbushes resulting in them doing a very expensive deal with MIN obviously because they wanted to stay with OZ spod.
We are currently in a very interesting position with these 2 Chinese companies in Australia atm.
Tianqi having provided Li to the more established Chinese market when they were market leaders, but now they carry huge debt, a reduced market and we do not know their cost to produce a quality product for the NCM811 market as we do for AJM who has a deal with Gangfeng who has a deal with LG Chem and Tesla.
Currently Tianqi are trying to squeeze Gangfeng and do a deal with LG Chem as an alternative supplier.
LG Chem has a % share of Gangfeng.
As we know Gangfeng is going Gangbusters.
I would say some lobbying from Gangfeng would be currently going on to make the Tianqi LG Chem deal fall over because of cost.
