I found this announcement intriguing, in my it should have been classified as market sensitive. Professor Andrew Ruys' appointment will make a significant impact on the commercial potential, operational timeline and product experience and expertise in start ups. From GCM management's perspective, drawing more attention to this could benefit the share price overall. While ASX does have guidelines around market sensitivity, I believe companies have considerable influence in deciding what qualifies. It’s possible that GCM management might be keeping the share price lower to allow for accumulation.
Also we have progressed on securing a facility in NSW which is a good choice for location considering both Professor Andrew Ruys and Professor Charles Sorrell are located in Sydney. This would mean the location would be close to Sydney.
