It has been a long day for me. As I mention in my quote it is hard to underestimate the value of the work Erin and her team have created for Race. Before the anthracycline VO2 peak discovery we faced having to run clinical trials with hundreds or even thousands of patients to generate clinically relevant proof-of-concept cardioprotection data that we could take to regulators or pharma partners to show the value of bisantrene. By using VO2 peak we can collect the same quality proof-of-concept data from 25 to 40 patients.
Amazing how all of this came from a shareholder emailing me Erin's paper. We must have the best shareholders on the ASX.
