Clearly what they have is not working and current management have demonstrated a total inability to run an integrated business. I really wouldn't want another 6 months of more of the same with profit and share price sinking.
Getting two different CEOs with expertise in the very different businesses makes sense. yes short term risk and I am not looking forward to seeing even more money walking out the door and going to investment bankers rather than rewarding current investors. Don't mind acquisitions if the person doing it can integrate them and extract value,. I can see this paying off in two years time as value is built in both. I told a friend last night I had two dogs reporting today and this one sure is woofing
