Not really sure why BKW didn't follow. I think that the misconception that BKW is only in building products and USA may be the incorrect view. This disconnect may well continue forever. I also think that SOL is in some of the indices that BKW is not. I think that is related to free float. I also don't get a lot of prices at the moment. A UK friend pointed out to me that he can get BHP on the LSE for around $22 AUD but it's trading much higher here. He said he has noticed this for some time. There was one day a week or so back when we shot up in the last couple of hours and it looked a very targetted strike on large caps and index stocks.
I think that both of these (BKW /SOL) would do well in the future.
I, however, am staying on the sidelines. How can we know what the impact will be if we don't know the duration or severity? I don't want to follow my early entry in 2008 rather than waiting and thus running out of bullets for the final crunch.
