This reads poorly to me.
Profitability increased through cutting marketing costs (growth driver) as opposed to margin maintenance.
Increased desire to cut costs during October. Will there be a commensurate impact on sales? Maybe not in the short term but...
"In the first half of October we were able to achieve 5% revenue growth"
That's only 15 days and could end up being a rounding error by the time next quarter comes around.
Looks like a company announcement searching for good news in the pcp comparisons.
None of this would be a problem if CTT wasn't trading on a PE of 66!
