Greece could not be allowed to win concessions on this issue as every other country in a similar position would want the same. Read Italy, Spain, Portugal, and soon Australia if it doesn't wean itself off welfare.
With the Greek currency now very weak the tourists should flock there and help the economy along.
The living standard will definitely fall but they have been living in an unsustainable way for too long.
They put in a socialist PM because he promised they would not have to cut back.
