When demand is growing for silver in solar panels, electronics, war products, etc even in a global depression, and there is less of it being made it will help with the current physical squeeze going on. If you can find a company to invest in that is on the silver now and can outlast this current phase I think you will be seeing rainbows soon.

MKR can survive for at least least 6 months with crazy diesel prices, I suspect the diesel craziness should only last for a month or two but with timing anything right now given global conditions, who knows. Crazy diesel prices will kill nearly every sector if sustained, not just miners so I can't see them letting it continue unless they have lost control of the market. And maybe worrying about ASX stock prices in such a scenario isn't going to be on anyone's mind when no food is being trucked to Coles and you can't drive to work.
