My way of identifying good miners is simply reading posts on H C FORUMS & than reading through company information, in nearly every one of the 35 miners I invest in , there are usually a few company aficionados that have the lowdown and there ear to the ground.
As H B says the largest pure silver play in AUS, in my recollection , and I have forgotten the miners name, but in the late 60s , a small SILVER explorer went from 10c to $68.00 , that's why you got love MKR,it can make you very rich.
In past 2 years I have had several 5 , 10 and even our MT ISA CO at 20 bagger my greatest has been a 60 bagger. Sold a few here and there ,but like a stubborn old mule ,still holding most of my portfolio ,don't know If its greed or total stupidity, thats wh my portfolio is down 1 mill from its high, but I do believe that will be small change for what is due in this totally unloved investment sector ATM.
