Just recently toured a zinc refinery operation that produces around 800 tonnes of zinc per day. It was amasing to see such a large operation taking place, particularly because it uses a similar method of electrolysis to extract zinc as to what LMG will be using.

Of note, power consumption plays a huge factor into costs, particularly in Australia. This refinery offset that having a large scale solar farm on site which basically allowed it to use power for free for about half the day. I'm not sure about the cost of power in Maylasia, but the possibility of having some sort of offtake agreement with these hydro operations might also have been a factor in their choice of location.
