I think you will find many companies make ASX announcements when applying for patents. I hold and follow biotech stocks and can guarantee they announce anything to do with patents and regulatory body filings.
As said there were significant new developments in this announcement, including the use of facilities and measurement of the qubit.
Completely disagree with your sentiment on quality not matching frequency. Given some other stocks these guys are very clear in their announcements and are duty bound to disclose everything that they do.
I have also been told that the ASX determine “price sensitive”. Happy to be proven wrong.
