Hi Bucky,
The answer to your question: "why the safety committee hasn't already given permission for cohort 1 patients to move to cohort 3" is that the safety committee will review the safety of dose 2 (the higher dose - recently completed) before giving permission for the administration of an even higher dose of MPL to patients in cohort 3. In this sense, when cohort 1 finished is immaterial.
