there are 2 commissioning issues:

thank goodness it seems that the sag mill can be fixed before lunar new year, presumably an asian supplier, there was a pretty detailed list released by the company i haven't checked it.

if everyone went on holidays, then the error was found, then the supposed Asian manufacturer went on holidays, that would potentially add another month or 2.

unfortunately other issue couldn't be fixed in December.

feb is planned essentially commissioning trial.
payable ore and production will be later.

alara was previously managed by Australian lawyer and British promoter who was advisor to a saudi prince. they didn't achieve anything big. so complainers can't easily say other management would do better without a big caveat.
