Supposedly, we brought in a CEO with great experience in PNG development but this outcome definitely undermines that reputation. When they have to turn around and both redesign and relocate a wharf, then you really have to scratch your head and ask "did an engineer even visit the site?" and ""who carried out the design review, was one even done? Sounds like they could not even chose an suitable site for the wharf. Project management has failed but as you say, why have there not been any earlier warnings, or did the Board and top managers really not know what was happening? After all, the Quarterly report was only 2 weeks ago. No mention of claims against the engineering and construction work. So, where does the liability lie?
