I'm usually fairly optimistic on this too and am often buoyed by your sentiments Maxter- even when things get hard and the masses get negative.
But right now there is no chance of anything significant for minimum 12 months. Bare bare minimum.
CLC conversation hasn't started - could be years - water bore monitoring took 12 months ADDITIONAL to the original assessment last time. Everything we had has to start again (non-process infrastructure, rail agreements, tee-tree airport agreements, MMP, EIS). Nothing has ever been delivered on time and no reason to think that will change this time. SMS are our greatest asset and they still haven't finished some outstanding testing on TIVAN from before COVID..... Macro environment is bad and getting worse.
For the first time I can't see anything good for the medium term. I'll mostly continue to hold for the long term - so my ego can keep the dream alive. But I do wish I had sold a little more at 11 cents late last year.
