Al here.... just a quick post to wake up the HFR Discussion page.
I note that Tim Boreham of */Criterion wrote at the weekend that investing in small caps can be a "white-knuckle rollercoaster ride".....he pointed to the big number of small caps and the very small number of those that go onto becoming big caps...(..if the cap fits..).
Tim amusingly (and correctly) said that most small caps "struggle to get within a pin-striped banker's brolly length of a loan (at least they're not troubled by soaring interest rates)"
Now HFR, to it's great credit, has just attained a big quality loan from the pin-striped top-end-of-Europe-town brolly-wielding bankers.
So our "roller-coaster" ride is now to be replaced by "all the fun of the fair" without the scary bits.
To quote the out-going PM.."How good is that?!".
