From Geoscience Australia;
In the March update: https://www.ga.gov.au/news/australia-takes-world-leading-role-in-global-critical-minerals-supply
.. “Additionally, Australia became number one in world ranking for vanadium resources - with almost half of the world’s economic resources and vanadium projects under development in Queensland and Western Australia.”
![]()
THE update notes Geoscience Australia has $3.4billion over 35 years to spend on favoured critical minerals projects, so it nay be a source of potential funding for Lumina or Ğabanintha?
But - perhaps even more importantly -
Look at that muscle!
.. “AIMR also provides useful comparisons of resources at operating mines as proportions of the national inventory and insights into the distribution of Australia's mineral wealth.It is also of interest to note Australia’s position as a global source of minerals as many countries are dependent on reliable supply from Australia for their own economies.AIMR's broad outlook assists with government policy decisions as well as programs and planning associated with the minerals sector and the sustainable development of Australia's mineral resources.
Those interested in government support beyond multiple recent photos of the Australian PM, WA Premier, and a large cast of other politicians including the Treasurer, in AVL/VSun vests, might also enjoy the several references to vanadium, and specifically to AVL, in the most recent quarterly update from the Office of the Chief Economist ;

I’ll just share one chart from that worthy publication:
I’ve circled the growth in vanadium production to 2030 from countries in the Asia Pacific area that are not China;

That’s got to include us, right?
- No wonder there’s so much excitement being talked about by management!
Things are getting REAL
…**. Especially considering vanadium barely got a mention in the December update!
cheers
