I expect the share price to stagnate until such time as a decision is made by Central Petroleum regarding the memorandum of understanding with Australian Gas Infrastructure Group and Macquarie Mereenie on a final investment decision for the construction of the proposed Amadeus basin to Moomba gas pipeline.
If the go ahead is given the construction timeline could coincide with the anticipated shortfall of gas supply for the east coast market.
And there is also a decision to be made regarding Dukas, so significant share price appreciation could be a year or two away.
