    As the market does its thing, CVV are plodding away with their 70 hole 10000m infill program.

    Cloudy satellite imagery from 31/5/21 shows some new sites that appear to have been drilled since the last cloud free image on the .21st.

    Translating this to a plan view:

    Only 6 definite sites, but with such poor imagery there are probably more with two rigs plugging away.

    The holes are likely to range between 1-200m with an average of 140m being the estimate from 70 holes for 10,000m.

    Programs change but this one looks like a standard drill out that will proceed mostly to plan.

    ==============

    One comment at the last meeting was about the ground being abrasive especially at depth. Drillers generally consider hardness and abrasiveness as major factors for drilling speed and bit wear. Bindi is 'soft' drilling but abrasive which may be why the diamond drilling and deeper RC work have caused some issues - not water as I understood previously although that may be a local problem.

    =================

    Rate of drilling
    The estimated completion date for the infill program is the end of June (mentioned at meeting May 18th).

    • The drill crews have probably been on site for a long time which is always helpful.
    • From memory RC rig production of 2-300m per day was generally achieved as long as holes didn't go over the 150m mark - never is standard with high variability more the norm. (300m in 2 or 3 holes was considered good especially with short moves and easy terrain as will be the case at Bindi if it doesn't rain too much. It is surprising how easy it is to get bogged.....)
    • 2 rigs, 4 x 140m holes per day, 18 days of near perfect drilling conditions to complete 70 holes, 10000m.
    • The satellite image does not look like this rate is being achieved unless the clouds are hiding drilling at the south end.
    • 2 x 140m holes per day or 35 days from the 18th (June 22nd) means the end of June is a reasonable time frame to completion, if not before.
