There are curious stats on the short side of things.
It's gone up considerably again, from 11.4 million to 18.5 million, or 7,166,616 shares, between Feb 29 and Mar 21.
I calculated volume, and during that time (according to TradingView, is this Cboe as well?), 26,418,490 shares were traded.
So, short shares traded accounted for 27.13% of all shares traded, which is a decent chunk.
The share price hasn't taken that much of a hit; they haven't been able to bring about a significant SP movement down.
Obviously, I've been bullish about A4N for years, so maybe my confirmation bias is out of control. But if we get good news around FID, these shorts could have a big problem. And if A4N has been telling me the truth about it being a big quant fund, it's all stats to them, so they'll have a number that they will need to cover at.
Hoping our patience and the hard work of A4N staff is well rewarded with a rerate very soon, surely we are due.
