this test has been and always will be a PREDICTIVE test..meaning that it will let you know that you may be in a risk category of developing Diabetes and therefore give you the choice to make some changes to your lifestyle or not
I am not a medical qualified person BUT i believe that the key rejection was around proof that the early warnings are accurate, which would mean that those who were warned should make NO lifestyle changes and wait for the diabetes to appear to prove that the test was indeed accurate !!!!!...problem with the aussie authorities is that they hate Indicative or predictive science..seems clear to me that the US and UK authorities understand that the test CAN provide mid/long term benefits to its patients.
