The big difference to the vaccines is with PromarkerD, you are taking blood out of the body, not putting a drug into it.
Regulators main concern is safety. This is not a drug, it is a test so very very different.
And the Oz PBS scheme has had massive budget pressures so everything gets a NO to start with.
The main criticism is that the application was based on assumptions and intent!!!
Very hard to do otherwise when it is not in the market and real world data is not available yet. Like all models, financial or medical, interpretations can vary dramatically. Especially by conservative scientific bureaucrats.
PBS did cost benefit over 6 years.. jesus.. the big benefit has always been back ended with a test with 4 year predictability.. do a cost benefit over 10 years or longer and its dramatically different.
