I think India will be really big (mentioned in ANN) Diabetes & resulting kidney disease is a huge issue there also. As we both know from investing here & in DXB (no cross promotion, DXB are using PromarkerD testing in clinical trials currently for DKD), the cost of dialysis for patients is massive & I think from a primary health care point of view, PromarkerD will be very useful for Govt Health Depts to screen and prevent DKD & progression to the endpoint of kidney failure resulting in dialysis, costing Govts billions of dollars, not to mention suffering & ill health for patients. This disease is a silent killer. It’s often only picked up when significant damage is already done & patients are symptomatic. It would not even surprise me if this test comes to the attention of WHO in regards to primary kidney health (so prevention) with DKD being a global pandemic. But that’s just my humble opinion.
