This has followed on from this study which found millions of patients not adequately screened & therefore unaware they have kidney disease. 80.3 % of 28 million patient tests were not screened as per KDIGO guidelines in accordance with their risk factors:

We also have just had further confirmation from the data presented at ASN Kidney Week that PromarkerD outperformed SOC - KDIGO in predicting DKD & further decline in renal function for patients already diagnosed.

"Both the eGFR blood test for kidney function and the uACR urine test for albumin, a type of protein, should be performed at least annually for at-risk patients by primary care physicians and other clinicians who manage diabetes and hypertension, such as endocrinologists and cardiologists."

Also keeping in mind that PromarkerD may also be a very useful diagnostic tool in clinical trials.
