Don’t even worry about it. Because PromarkerD even as a prognostic test is done in conjunction with eGFR, it could flag more testing if in fact the eGFR was abnormal (could be reasons for that, but why you need to see a Specialist), so also assists in diagnosis. Because early on DKD/CKD is a ‘silent disease’ there would be many people walking around completely unaware, I have no doubt.
