Ann: PromarkerD US market update, page-28

Hi Malaga, I’m assuming breaking one’s own rules doesn’t happen very often?  Your contemplation was good & puts things into perspective.

There really was a fair bit in this ANN to contemplate.

So just a couple of things:

”There is nothing else like PromarkerD available - it is the worlds leading predictive test for diabetic kidney disease according to analysts in our sector”.

Breaking this deal with PhDx does not affect the value of our IP for PromarkerD globally. 

”Insurance Companies are keen to have the test available because it will cut dramatically the number of people who are unaware they have progressive kidney disease so they can do something about it immediately.”

ie save insurance companies $$$ & make Pathology Labs $$$ doing the tests.

”Proteomics International’s Head of Business Development, Chuck Morrison, based in Boston, is leading the negotiations which are expected to be finalised within the next few months.  Any licence transaction is expected to involved up-front, milestone and royalty payments, in line with industry standards.”

We’ve been given what seems to be a cautious timeline, but as others have said, it appears PIQ are already in negotiations, and maybe just maybe to quote your words @Malaga, we might get some news sooner rather than later, on top of 4C.

The word ‘imminent’ can be a curse, I’m sure we have all seen it before & it’s probably best not to use it unless companies know for absolute certain revenue is on its way to the bank account.  It just disappoints people, and I totally get that too.  Bit of a downer for us the last few days, but looking at the big picture, quite likely not opening up better opportunities.

I hope so & our disappointment in current SP is temporary.  I don’t think any of us would be buying more in the low 30s if we didn’t think so.  My av is in the low 20s, so realistically I averaged up & bothers me not one iota with this company.  Stay Cool & have a great weekend all.
