    the trial followed industry standards for cancer trials with scans every 8 weeks.
    suggest download the RECIST 1.1 guidance and doing a search for the term confirmatory scans, it'll explain when and why they're done. usually it's to confirm that a response seen on the scan (for example partial response) is true, hence a confirmatory scan about 4 weeks later.
    nothing unusual about any of this
