My father was very strongly a "Defensive Investor" -- but he did say 30% Defensive, 30% Neutral, 30% Aggressive, and 10% for share gambling.
ASX:WES was in the "Defensive" Category while they had ASX:COL.
But I would expect the WES management should have a similar business template.
From the WES presentation:
Development of the asset will leverage Wesfarmers’ existing capabilities inchemical processing & long track record of successfully developing processingplants, while generating strong returns on capital over time
30% of WES should be in the "aggressive" category (Accountants are only good at managing the "defensive" category with hindsight)
They say they have the Internal REsourcing to make this work... They had better be right!
