If Nissan can't get hold of Lithium why has the price collapsed over the last 12 months ?
I repeat there is plenty of lithium in the world (hard rock & brines). Of the hard rock mines Greenbushes in WA (owned by China's Tianqi Lithium & Albemarle of the US) is a standout and world class operation. Other hard rock deposits including Kidman's don't compare.
This deal simply doesn't make sense for WES and is an $800m gamble !
