yeah so using a margin loan with say Westpac and using the LVR to borrow cash to invest in MGG and whether or not that would entitle me to the benefits of the extra options, increased amount of shares that would qualify for the 1 for 4 and then the 7.5% difference
I would assume it may not given they are borrowed but given will be holding for the long term, trying to leverage into Magellan as one would assume the returns will easily beat the current lending rates which would also be deductible etc
Watched the interview with Hamish Douglas on the weekend and didn’t have anything about borrowed funds and how that would impact it
Maybe just bite the bullet and buy what I want outright and leverage into something elsewhere outside the restructure issues
