One thing that keeps nagging at me is if the Gambia prospect is as good as CN say's and Soloo is as CN states is connected to Sangomar, then why the lack of interest from Petronas for FAR. Petronas has paid US $42.5M for their 50% stake in the Gambia and cannot see value in bidding US $162M for FAR which includes the other 50% of the Gambia.
But for the fact that Lukoil made an offer less than 24hrs before the Feb 18th shareholder meeting, the sale to WPL would have gone ahead.
