DrElphant You said that I "clearly missed at least one salient point ...I have only one question ...why has Zenith already announced their intention to de=merge (sic) the company...surely their logic supports my points, if not why not..."

Once again I disagree. The answer to your question BTW is contained in Zenith's demerger comments as announced to the ASX on 13 January 202, namely:
"To allow the Zenith team to focus on EV-metal project generative activities, it is planned that the non-EV-metal projects, including base metals and gold assets will be demerged into one or more new companies to be listed on ASX."

The mere fact that Zenith proposes to de-merge - and other companies have successfully done so - does not mean that your particular idea is a good one. My point was that I think yours was not a good idea. IMO some Zenith shareholders would not want Rumble shares at all, or to the same level as they were invested in ZNC, leading to a potential overhang in RTR (all other factors being equal). I would be reluctant to exchange my ZNC shares for Rumble shares unless the ratio was very favourable. Your suggestion was miles off the mark for me.

Rumble cannot expect to gain total control of the Project (before the Project's expected substantial rerating) without paying a suitable premium for the entirety; the more so if paid in newly created Rumble stock. Further, as a takeover of the entire asset by one of the big companies is likely to occur IMO, I would not want any takeover premium diluted through a transaction like you postulated.

My interests are as a Zenith shareholder. Unlike you, I'm not a Rumble shareholder. I will oppose any transaction (demerger or otherwise) that is likely to cause a significant transfer of value from Zenith shareholders (i.e. their loss) to Rumble shareholders (i.e. their gain). You seem to be struggling with the fact that people don't like your 'thought bubble'. Don't worry, this matter will be decided outside this forum.
